Weight painting all done and very happy about the play-blast extension not sure how I would of got that done in time with other projects as well. Now that this is all finally done after so long I can start my walk cycle and put my character into my scene.

Final Photos for Light Project
These are my final juxpositioned images where I am showing the same object with normal white light and then coloured light to show how much different and a change that can be made just by adding coloured light, another element that I have added to this series of photos is how zoomed in it is where the first image is a zoomed out shot where you can see the whole object to the final image which is a close up macro shot. to get my point across more vividly I darkened the white light photos ever so slightly. With the use of reflections, I had a reflection but because I was going to be zooming in on the different other ice objects progressively I didn't take this further.

Scene
First attempted at scene, I know its fairy basic but for my animation I think I am going to keep it very basic. I am still not sure what I am going to do with the very end bit of the scene because I want a sort of play room to be there so I just need to figure out what it should look like.

Progress with the weight painting
After hours and hours of looking at YouTube videos on rigging and weight painting I have come across something very helpful which is the component editor where I can select the vertex of my mesh and see which joints are effecting them and I can edit and control that. This should make the weight paining a lot easier.

Skeleton finished
I think now most of the skeleton rig is done. I figured out the problems with the skin moving in the wrong direction and everything moves roughly how it should do. Now I need to get onto the weight painting and I recently found out about the controls and a master control you should have for your character so you're not moving the the joints just the controls which connect to the joints? if that makes sense.
Problems.
Weight painting not as easy s I thought and I need to make it so the eyes move with the body.. hmmmm

Investigation
These are just inspiration on direction and ideas that I could of and did explore. I thought the top image was really awesome how it was working with food colouring like what I have been doing but they had a colours melting together to make other colours which came out quite nicely but sadly this idea isn't relative to my project the other two however are the second image is a good example of my message that I am trying to get across of how adding coloured light can change something and make it look a lot different than what it would look like without coloured lights and finally the last image is just an example of shapes that can be formed when taking macro shots of ice.

Change to proposal.
With my light project I am using ice to show how different
objects can appear when lit up with coloured light compared to normal light and
the transformation’s that it makes through only changing the light of the
object creating a new physical space without physically manipulating the ice.
Throughout my juxtapositions I am steadily showing how an increase of a change
that can be made from subtle to very obvious and on top of that how the more
going towards macro shots I go towards more the change that is there.

Progress with rigging.
I have solved the problem with the skin binding and I have now started the rigging with the bottom half of the body first. I think my IK handles are correct but the leg seems to bend backwards when I lift it up and forwards when I pull it down which is the opposite to what I want. I might need too tweak it a bit and then weight painting will hopefully help solve this.

Photo-shoot 1
I like the turn out of my first Photo shoot and I got some interesting photos out of it, I think now I just need to start developing my idea a bit more away from just the ice to make my project a bit more in depth.
